Coast-to-coast Ablaze! relay stops in Grand Haven for June 17 rally

Michigan Lutherans ran or walked the 500 miles from Hell to Paradise last summer in an effort to share the Gospel. The 2007 relay began in the little Southern Michigan town called Hell and ended in the Upper Peninsula village of Paradise.

Forty-six missionaries are currently attending LCMS World Mission’s annual orientation at Concordia University, St. Paul, Minn. These missionaries will work in 17 different countries around the world, such as Panama, Thailand, India, Uganda, and the Czech Republic. Conference at China Lutheran Seminary
Dr. Robert Kolb, well known Luther scholar, was the speaker for several well attended activities in Taiwan this June, including this two day conference at China Lutheran Seminary. Dr. Kolb is pictured with his translator, Mei-fen Ku.
