Dear Friends and Family of LCMS World Mission,

There is much to be thankful for this Christmas season:

• God’s loving provision of a Savior for all in Jesus Christ;
• the privilege and calling He gives us, His children, to respond to His love by personally sharing that Good News with others;
• the faithful service of our brothers and sisters in Christ sent by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as missionaries, international educators, and chaplains to support work and relationships in more than 85 countries, including the United States, (find missionary profiles and prayer cards at www.lcmsworldmission.org/prayercards);
• the body of global partners including church bodies, seminaries, international schools, LCMS districts, LCMS congregations and schools, auxiliaries, boards and commissions, Registered Service Organizations, National Mission Affiliates, mission societies, etc; and
• the partnership that we share with you in bringing that same Good News to people all across the United States and the world! Together, we are “the light of the world!”
