India Schools Project-Video

India became the first foreign mission field of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod in 1895. Over the next 50 years, many LCMS missionaries served in India and founded schools. The buildings built during the tenure of the missionaries have fallen into disrepair and have been eaten by termites.

Relief work in Haiti continues—help still needed

As more details emerge surrounding the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that killed an estimated 200,000 people in Haiti, the LCMS continues its efforts to provide immediate relief to the Haitian people.
